Environmental Issues with Canadian Diamonds

Do you believe Canadian diamonds pass the ethical test? The very reason they are sold at a higher price is because “Canadian Diamonds” are claimed to be the ethical choice which do not come with a baggage of negative energies or bad luck and are not responsible for causing damage to the environment.

However, contrary to the claim, the famous Victor Mines in Canada have resulted in great devastation and damage to the entire ecosystem including destruction and obstruction to the animal habitats and their migratory routes.

The major difference between a mine in Africa and a Canadian mine is that the latter is formally regulated, however when it comes to the environmental impact of the mining, the issue of mineral waste, the destruction of the ecosystem, the damage to the animal habitat, then Canadian mines also fail the test.
