Lab-Grown Diamonds vs Swarovski Crystals
Swarovski crystals is the last one in the list of diamond-looking structures, readily available in the market. Like the moissanite and the cubic zirconia, the swarovski crystals too are free from carbon in their composition. Swarovski crystals are primarily glass.
They come into existence by melting silicon dioxide powder with lead, which gives rise to the formation of lead crystals. These lead crystals are then coated with an Aurora Borealis coating that helps give it a rainbow effect when light falls on it.
When it comes to HARDNESS, swarovski crystals are the least hard, compared to all. This makes them least durable and most scratch prone, compared to the moissanite and cubic zirconia.
